Michael
McManus: Number 2 UKIP North West list
Michael
was born in Manchester. He holds a Masters degree
in Social Psychology from the University of Central
Lancashire in Preston. He spent much of his early
childhood in Cumbria. He worked for a charity in
Liverpool city centre, before joining the research
team in Brussels for UKIP. He also spent time working
on a rare breeds farm in Cheshire.
Michael
feels particularly passionate about more rights
for victims of crime. He also wants to see a firm
but fair immigration policy for Britain. He also
feels that the EU’s cruel trade policies
are causing poverty and despair in the world’s
poorest countries. Michael believes that most politicians
are greedy, and the best way to shock them would
be to vote UKIP on June 4th.

| Graham Cannon - Number 3 Candidate
Graham Cannon, 58, is married with four children and
lives in Foulridge where he is active in the
local community as a parish councillor. A qualified civil
engineer, his interests include flying a
hot air balloon, mountain scrambling and folk music.

" As a businessman I can see how rules made by un-elected
Eurocrats and the associated human
rights and health and safety culture are stifling enterprise
and throwing common sense out of the
window. I am asking for your support in this election
so that my children can prosper in a free and
independent Britain and not be crushed under a corrupt
Superstate run for the benefit of foreigners.

| Phil
Griffiths – Number
5 Candidate I joined UKIP because of my anger with the Lib-Lab-Con
parties who have turned their backs on the British people
and for their own interests surrendered Britain`s sovereignty
to the European Union.
My background is business. Having held senior sales and
management positions major international organisations
I now run my own communications company. I am a school
governor, a committee member of a Sea Cadet Unit and
an associate member of the Honourable Company of Master
Mariners. I am an NEC member, North West and Wirral branch
chairman. If elected I promise I will do my utmost for
Britain, the British people and our independence.

| Hilary
Jones – Number
6 Candidate I have lived in Wirral for over fifty
years and have been involved in politics since 1980.I
was previously a Conservative Concillor for 18 years
and Mayor of Wirral 2004/5.I have always been a euro
sceptic and during the 90's
was a keen supporter of the so called Maastrict rebels
in the party. I object to political correctness and
health and safety regulations which are used as an
excuse to alienate anyone
who dares to object to European or Government dictats. There
is no such thing as EU money, it is our own money which
we should never have given to Brussels. W e have
nothing to thank EU for. We are a sovereign nation
and should remain so. We will trade with Europe, but
that
is as far as it should go. I for one will never accept
Tony Blair or indeed any other clapped out politician
as a President of Europe. Europe is a Continent made
up of sovereign nations and should so. How many organisations are allowed to continue trading
when their accounts have not been signed off for numerous
years? It appears one rule for the EU and one rule for
us the taxpayers who are paying for this corruption.

| Terry
Durrance – Number
7 Candidate
65 years old and married to Sue. Retired Ambulance Control
Superintendent.
Hobbies : Acting, Singing, Squash, Badminton, Horse Racing,
Travel.
I have had no lifelong ambition to be involved in politics,
but like most people I was critical and despairing of
the direction our country was heading.
A breaking down of law and order, antisocial behaviour,
a crumbling NHS, deteriorating local council services,
a failing education system, the list is never ending.
Yet the Lib/Lab/Cons are so entrenched in political correctness
and intent on giving control of our country to the EU
that they seem incapable of formulating policies that
will reinsert the “great” into Great Britain.
